- No box-spring required.
- Center rail with 3 legs for improved support.
- Back is semi-finished.
- Clean lines, angles, and tapered legs create a lightweight look despite the durable material construction.
- Primary construction is a solid wood panel core covered with 2 transverse layers of high-grade wood veneer that is more costly than solid edge-glued panels but provides improved strength and stability with a smooth finish.
- Finished with a non-toxic low-VOC paint made with solvents from 100% renewable sources.

Great! A little tedious to put together but very solid, no weak areas and no squeeking. We added additional 1x3 slats between those provided for mattress support. Overall, very nice & solid!

My husband put this together by himself, so I can't say how long it took him, but it couldn't have been that bad. This bed is exactly what we were looking for: It's beautiful and sturdy. It looks just like the photos. I especially love the headboard.
